Particle E Series Evaluation Kit allows for getting started with the E Series, family of industrialized cellular IoT modules. The Evaluation Kit includes an E Series Evaluation Board with 2G/3G global connectivity and a sample IoT sensor (temperature). Also included are all the cellular accessories needed to build industrial-grade proof-of-concept designs on the Particle platform.
Particle E Series Modules are an all-in-one cellular IoT hardware platform with built-in Cloud connectivity and global SIM support. The E Series builds on the Electron cellular prototyping kit to provide a clear hardware scaling path from prototype to production. The modules feature a powerful STMicroelectronics STM32 F2 ARM Cortex MCU 120MHz core with ample GPIO, 1MB Flash, and 256KB RAM.
The Electron and E Series modules share the same development tools, run the same code, and have the same hardware peripherals. Transitioning to mass-production is as simple as replacing the Electron in a prototype with an E Series module on a PCB.
Particle's E Series modules were designed for scale and comply to industry standards to ensure IoT solutions survive in hostile and unpredictable environments.
