NPCA110P Audio Enhancing Engine and CODEC
General Description
The Nuvoton NPCA110P device is a member of Nuvoton’s
Sound Enhancing family optimized for portable devices such
as docking stations for MP3-players and mobile phones, Multi-
Media speakers, PC monitor speakers and Boom boxes.
The NPCA110P integrates Waves? MaxxAudio3 sound
enhancement algorithms. These are proprietary, patented,
psychoacoustic algorithms that compensate for the
acoustic limitations of small CE devices.
The MaxxAudio3 algorithms enable reproduction of rich
content, with a wide dynamic range and a full frequency
range, on a limited audio system. For low-frequency
reproduction, MaxxBass? uses a patented psychoacoustic
technique to create a perceived low bass, which can be
extended up to 1.5 octaves lower than the original. This
technique reproduces full and rich sounding bass tones.
Power handling is done by MaxxVolume?, which utilizes the
power amplifiers and speakers to their full extent yet avoids
clipping and distortions.
The MaxxAudio3 software suite provides additional algo-
rithms that enhance the overall sound quality, such as
Maxx3D, which widens the stereo image, and MaxxTreble,
for reproducing crystal clear high frequencies. To design a
resonance-free audio system, MaxxEQ provides a flexible
equalizer with 10 bands.
The NPCA110P enables digital control over the Volume and
Bass, replacing traditional analog potentiometers. Addition-
al digital controls for selecting a specific music style (Jazz,
Vocal, Rap, Classical, etc.) can also be added.
The Maxx family of devices includes:

空氣泄漏法是常用的檢測方法,它具有簡單易行、易檢測出泄漏的具體位置、檢測技HA17324A術要求不高的特點,被普遍使用,但當樣品漏率比較小時,檢測結果精度不高。差壓檢漏法實現了整個檢測過程的自動化,縮短了檢測周期,減少了檢測前的準備工作量,提高了效率。其次,由于差壓檢漏法分辨率與施加壓力無關,使得其檢測靈敏度高。差壓法與氦質譜檢漏法比較來看,差壓檢漏法可檢范圍較廣,同時可以克服溫度變化對測量結果的影響,但差壓檢漏法的缺點是不能確定被測件的泄漏位置。
從試驗情況來看,對于大容積腔體的密封檢測首先推薦使用差壓式檢漏法,該方法不僅可以檢測微小泄漏,對于大漏率腔體試樣同樣適用,如電連接器。在精度要求較高的情況下,可以用差壓檢漏法定量分析電連接器密封性。
電子產品的組裝焊接過程中,對電路板、元件可焊端或錫膏,助焊劑質量的不良選擇就會造成焊接問題,直接影響到產品的質量。主要的焊接問題包括不良的潤濕、橋接、裂紋等,會增加質量控制工作量和產生大量的維修,造成人力和財力的浪費,如假焊、虛焊和焊接強度差等,將直接導致可靠性問題。可焊性測試通過對來料進行可焊性方面的測試,量化評估被測樣品的可焊性優劣,直接對來料是否可投入生產或經過工藝窗口的調整后方能投入生產提供指導。對于元器件批次來料,由于產量小導致存放時間長的單位,可焊性測試更具意義,可在元器件使用前對其進行可焊性評估,以確定此批元器件的使用是否會導致焊接質量問題的發生。
可焊性測試是通過對樣本的選擇、焊接過程模擬,根據測試結果來確定樣品的質量。在電子行業,可焊性試驗在評估安裝樣件的影響時,通過測量所用錫膏和助焊劑的質量,焊接工藝質量等進行。潤濕天平(或潤濕平衡)試驗方法是通過傳感器檢測到小的受力水平,結合時間來測定錫和快速潤濕的強度。具體的樣品被放置在夾具上,樣品浸入規定溫度的焊料過程中,通過傳感器將力和時間數據傳送到上位機,通過軟件形成曲線和數據文件,對焊接質量進行準確、定量評價
