在接口功能方面，F71610A通過全速USB接口（12Mb/s）與主機通信。在電源功能方面，當PC系統進入S3狀態時，F71610A支持USB接口的遠程喚醒功能。F71610A解碼紅外協議與遙控器的電源密鑰相同。F71610A是用于喚醒PC系統的USB接口。另外，F71610A支持通過PSOUT#引腳遠程喚醒功能，當PC系統處于S5狀態時，F71610A被斷言為PSOUT#引腳以喚醒PC系統。
在I2C接口功能中，F71610A構建256字節SRAM，以保存來自I2C的閃存/ROM信息，用于USB總線枚舉。I2C閃存/ROM包含IdVendor/IdProduct/BcdDevice/Manufacturer string/IPProduct string/iSerialNumber字符串信息。
